Guests to this authentic and superbly positioned agriturismo are welcomed by international flags at the entrance.  The property, selected by the WWF (World Wildlife Fund), is approximately 850 metres altitude, very close to the Gran Sasso and Maiella National Parks, and 3.5 kms from the village of Corvara (visit the fortified historic centre).  Accommodation in neat, spacious and comfortable rooms or in a simple and original treehouse!  (Read the story of the treehouse on their website).  The agriturismo's main activity is making honey,  they grow their own vegetables (tip: try the delicious tomatoes), raise geese and sheep, as well as have Martina the donkey and Nina the goat as mascots.

Relax in the reading room, or take part in the many traditional farming activities such as making cheese, extra virgin olive oil (from the local Toccolana variety olives), jams and conserves, or macerating herbs for making liqueurs.  Dine with the friendly owners, Elide and Marino, at a communal table and enjoy their fresh farm specialities. Oven baked pizza is scheduled once a week. Children's playground and discounts for children up to 12 years-of-age.  The rates are unchanged since 2008, confirming the owners philosophy that life can be lived sustainably without taking advantage of clients.    

The agriturismo is reachable from the autostrada exit in less than an hour.  Open from June-September, unless by special arrangement.
